El Bolsón

It is located 132 km. from San Carlos de Bariloche in a wonderfull fertile valley hidden between the Piltriquiton Hill in Araucano, 'the one that hangs from the clouds' (incredible) the one you arrive going through a sinuous highway, appears El Bolson, a little and beauty place full of magic and energy. El bolson is a haven of peace, love, and a corner of fantasy, where the hand of the man has made only the necessary to live in equilibrium with nature, and that tiny touch was perfect.
The slogan of the place "El bolsón, ecological place in favor of the life" is not only a phrase to astonish the tourists, or to attract them , it is a style of life for those young boys and girls who arrived to El Bolson in the 60's or 70's disappointed with the urban life.

They settle here many hippie communities that live in huts made of wood and placed in the middle of the forest, they dedicated their life to agriculture and handcraft. This style of life and the care of the inhabitants let them to maintain the purity of the environment, task very difficult to realize nowadays. It is very interesting, for it s culture, and because there are few towns in the World that could stay with this equilibrium.
In El Bolson there is always something to do parapente, fishing, rafting, horserace, ski, mountain bike, trekking, canoeing, or simple harvest fruits, milking animals or participate in the different activities of the rural establishments.
